Mari is a recent graduate of Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy. Having traveled throughout Upstate New York for national corporations, Mari understands the impact work-life can have on physical and mental wellbeing. She is also aware of the additional stress to maintain balance between work and family. As a corporate executive receiving massage, and now as a massage therapist, Mari witnessed massage therapy’s role to restore and maintain wellness. Through her practice, Mari is passionate about three things: listening to her clients, reducing stress through massage therapy and energy work, improving function to muscles impacted by repetitive motion injury (carpal tunnel syndrome and thoracic outlet syndrome among the most common) and muscles impacted by postures maintained through daily living. A week holds 168 hours. Mari invites you to take just one hour for yourself to prevent, protect, and pamper.
Cindy Kelsey is a New York state licensed massage therapist, certified pediatric Massage therapist and 2012 graduate from the Center of Natural Wellness in Albany. Her interest in massage began in her twenties after she incurred whiplash during a car accident. She sought chiropractic care to treat her injury and was offered massage as part of her therapy plan. She was amazed by how quickly and fully she was able to recover. Although intrigued by the possibility of helping others heal with massage, at that time she was focused on completing her teaching degrees and beginning a career in education. Ten years into her career as an elementary special education teacher she decided it was time for her to go back to school to become a massage therapist. Since graduating from massage school she has continued to expand her knowledge by taking courses in pediatric massage, craniosacral therapy and hot stone massage. She is committed to work with her clients to design individual massage treatment plans that incorporate a variety of techniques.
